We're all in this together...

Barbara’s friend Ron has cystic fibrosis and was awaiting a lung transplant. Barbara designed a special T-shirt for him and raised money for pre-surgical expenses through t-shirt sales. Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disorder affecting 1 in 3,000 newborns. One out of 25 people, mostly Northern European ancestry, are carriers. Cystic fibrosis primarily affects the lungs but also liver, pancreas and intestine. Ron has since had a lung transplant and is attending pulmonary rehab for strengthening.
